These vast grounds are perfect for those who need to escape the confines of the castle. Enjoy a pleasant walk as you explore the lawns or spend time with your friends.

On the opposite side of the castle from the forest is the quidditch pitch. Three goal hoops on poles reach high into the air on each side and the playing field is enclosed by stands for students to watch and cheer for their team.

Located to the south of the castle is the Black Lake. It is approximately a half-mile in diameter and is full of various creatures such as the giant squid, merfolk, and grindylows. This however doesn't seem to discourage students from putting their feet in, or even taking the occasional swim.

Not far form the Forbidden Forest is a cabin made of wood. Hagrid who not only teaches care of magical creatures but is also grounds keeper calls this place home. Behind it is a pumpkin patch with a small wooden fence surrounding it.

This large and dark forest can be found to the east of Hogwarts. Students have been warned to keep away, but that doesn't mean they listen.

A small and extremely dirty pub, this place is known for its cheapness as well as its "interesting clientele". It can be found a block or so off of High Street and is down the street from the Three Broomsticks. Aberforth Dumbledor has been the bar tender for almost forty years.

Owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, this shop it a popular destination for students. The store is filled with shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable, fulfilling a candy lover's dream.

A small, cramped tea shop found just off High Street, this is a popular place for couples who want to be alone, or at least in a more "romantic" setting. The inside is decorated with a lot of tacky frills.

Owned by Madam Rosmerta, this in is warm and comfortable, making it a frequent spot of Hogwarts students. Butterbeer is a favorite here as well as fire whiskey, though some may find that harder to come by.

A shopping district that like many things in the wizarding world, is hidden from view of muggles by magic. The entrance can be found behind the Leaky Cauldron. Diagon Alley is located in central London and the only way to gain entrance is to tap the correct brick. Remember, three up, two across.

Around the corner form Diagon Alley is Knockturn Alley. This alley consists of dark, twisted streets that are devoted to the dark arts. For those who wish not to get associated with such things, it would be wise to avoid this place entirely.

Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. The headquarters is located underground in the heart of London and there are two entrances available. One is by floo-network, which is the most common for those who are employed here. A broken-down, red telephone booth acts as a entrance for those who are visiting the ministry.

Located in a deserted department store in London, St. Mungo’s Hospital is the primary wizarding hospital in Britain. It is here that wizards can be treated for all sorts of magical related injuries and illnesses and there have even been times where Muggles have been treated here as well. Of course, this has only been done under extreme circumstances.

Located on a small island, far out into the cold North Sea, is none other than the famous wizarding prison. Dementors guard the prison, making it a less than pleasant place to go to. Lately, a string of mass breakouts amongst those associated with Voldemort and his Death Eaters have taken place, leaving the Ministry to try to cover it up.

Only twenty minutes away from Number Twelve, Grimmauld Place is a large and busy railway station. It is here that Hogwarts students find the platform nine and three-quarters and are able to board the Hogwarts Express.

In northwest London is what once was the home of the noble Black family. After the passing of his parents and younger brother, Sirius let the house be used for the Order of Phoenix as headquarters. Upon Sirius’s death, the house went to Harry and has once again become the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix.

In Little Whinging on Privet Drive, there is a large, square house. To most, it looks like any other house in this particular subdivision and many wouldn’t give it even a second glance while passing it. However this isn’t just any house. This is the house that Harry Potter grew up in, the same house that he is forced to return to every summer while waiting out the time before he can once again retreat to the safety of Hogwarts.

Just outside the village of Ottery St. Catchpole, the Burrow is home to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. It is a large, ramshackle house that has four to five stories built into it. While most of the Weasley children have moved out to start living on their own, this doesn’t mean that the house is quiet. This is most likely due to the fact that members of the family frequently stop by to visit and catch up on things.

Almost anything and everything can be talked about here. It is perfect for those who like to talk about random things. However, if you post something that is not appropriate, I will ask you to remove it.
