FACE CLAIM: Clement Chabernaud ATTIRE: George is well groomed. Despite growing up without a mother, he is naturally tidy and clean cut. When out of his school uniform he dresses modestly and on the conservative side. He avoids graphic t-shirts or any kind of print on his clothes. Basically, nice enough not to incite ridicule. When notice is not the kind you want, none at all is best. His father already seems to think he's enough of a joke. and then a little about yourself LIKES: +Cats +Stories of his mother +Alone time +Being left to his own devices +Potions +Experimenting with potions +Quidditch +His friends +Being ignored DISLIKES: +Lectures & getting talked at +Expectations +Obnoxiousness +When Someone Makes Him Feel Incompetent +Loneliness +Being made a fool +Being pressured to do something +Being ignored BOGGART: Finding himself naked in front of everyone. ERISED: Meeting his mother. OVERALL PERSONALITY: Outwardly, George comes off as uncomplicated and too simple to describe. The most someone who doesn't know him could probably afford him is "Hot Flesh Robot". He rarely shows any emotion or interest and nothing really fazes him. To a degree that is true. The range of emotions he wants to feel can be expressed with a straight face. He’s sarcastic and a lot of his jokes are dry. Some people can’t even tell that he’s joking. He does enjoy it when he manages to make people laugh, but if they don’t... well, he won’t make a fuss. He just moves on. He’s also aloof. He often has a detached look like he’s off in his own little world... and generally, he is. The odd thing is, he’s not even really thinking about anything when he’s settled himself into his own mind. He is on the quieter side so his shyness can come off as snobbish... which is unintentional, but entirely true. He likes to act like other people can't tell this about him. All of this is due to his lack of trust in the common man. But really, there is much more going on beneath the surface than he would care for people to know. This is most evident when he becomes straightforward within a blink of the eye... and often that's just the kind of reaction he gets. It's not that he has no use for people, quite the contrary, but it's a precarious world when you do not mirror your death eater father. You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't. He is loyal to the friends he has... they are few, but very little can make him turn his back on them. One of the few attributes to being stubborn as an ox. If he’s made up his mind, there’s no changing it. He might let you talk, but that’s all he’ll let you do. This is also the reason he breaks rules. No one can talk him out of any idea – stupid or not. As quiet and as much as he keeps to himself, he’s quite creative and inventive. Something simply must happen when he spends so much time not saying anything. When he puts his mind to it, he can solve problems and he’d probably do better in his classes. history your family and such PARENTS: Harold Abernathy | 45 | Death Eater Angela Abernathy | 43 | Death Eater | Deceased @ 27 OVERALL HISTORY: When George was welcomed into the Abernathy family his was a cherished little infant. He was to live a proper wizard’s life in a safe world. The first born son of a respectable family. The golden boy of poster family. Perhaps not of old money, but certainly hard-working, ambitiously successful Slytherins. But reality always has a way of throwing its curve balls and dreams die. Harold and Angela were quiet supporters of the Dark Lord. When it came to magic, they believed more careful consideration should be placed on the muggleborns. Magic was a powerful thing and in the wrong hands, in the inexperienced hands of a muggleborn, mistakes could happen. It was a wonder muggle parents survived bursts of magic from their freak-accident children. They didn’t always believe in the Dark Lord’s methods, but they believed something had to be done and at least someone was doing it. With a new child in this world, they would do anything to protect him. Sadly enough, within eight months Angela’s life was taken. Not by the Order. Not by the Death Eaters, but by a lowly muggle on a drunken binge in one of their infernal machines. The loss of his wife to an inferior being pushed Harold over the edge and into blind hatred. He had always tolerated co-existence before (simply disliking the probability of weakening the bloodlines), but now he had to take his part. How many men stood by and let things happen, simply waiting for others to carry the load? He joined the ranks of the Death Eaters and thus started his life as a single father. George can’t remember his mother. He only has pictures to go by and the stories his father has told him. They weren’t often, but those moments were the only times George ever felt connected to his father. Though he likes to keep the biased renditions close to his heart, he has a feeling that his mother's perfection is embellished just a tad. Other than this, George was usually lectured about the ways life should be and why purity had to be renewed. As a young boy, he never quite understood how besmirched bloodlines could become pure again, but as he grew he stopped trying to figure it out. He couldn’t identify with the idea, so he only followed routine to be a tolerated son. As expected, George received his letter of admissions to Hogwarts. It was anticipated that he would be placed in Slytherin, as his parents were. Such a proud day it was for his father. He imagined his dad sitting around with the other Slytherin fathers, proudly boasting about whose son would conquer the quidditch team, and show those good-for-nothing mudbloods what for. Perhaps that was the last time his dad felt proud of him... because that first day he was sorted into Ravenclaw. To this day, his holidays are spent listening to grumblings and ridicule for having his nose in a book. He never even particularly liked books, he just found that people left him alone when he was reading one. He figures that might be why he was placed in his house (his dad certainly seems to think so), but he doesn’t question it and after six years what’s the point? He makes decent marks in school, but doesn't feel like he puts much work into it. No heart, at least. now for the person behind the character ALIAS: Pickle AGE: Years EXPERIENCE: Years WHERE'D YOU FIND US?: Through another site [style=padding-right:5px; padding-left:9px; font-family:georgia; font-size:10; letter-spacing:0px; color:#fff;line-height:10px; text-align:center; border-left:0px dotted black; text-transform:uppercase; padding-bottom:0px; text-shadow: 0 0 0.2em #F87, 0 0 0.2em #F87;] Credit goes to MDIZZLE FO RIZZLE at Caution 2.0 |
